BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Marketing General Inc., a Taylor Corporation business, is seeking a full-time business development representative. This hunter based role requires a strategic thinker who can identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining a deep understanding of market trends and client needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Generate and develop new prospects through a disciplined, organized approach
  • Effectively assess the needs of prospects and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Develop appropriate service, product, and technology solutions for targeted accounts
  • Conduct compelling and persuasive sales presentations to showcase MGI's products/services
  • Work within the MGI sales process and document progress in Salesforce and Pardot
  • Utilize the internal resources and expertise in proposals and presentations
  • Over time become an authority on membership marketing
  • Meet and exceed specific measurable goals; revenue targets, leading indicators (such as number of meetings, number of opportunities, close percentage, etc) and personal development goals
  • Be an enthusiastic and active participant in MGI’s business development team
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Marketing General Incorporated (MGI), a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking a highly motivated and high-energy Marketing Account Executive to provide a blend of tactical, strategic, and interpersonal skills to support and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Develops marketing calendars, schedules, and budgets and serves as the project manager across assigned clients and campaigns.
  • Prepares project concepts and leads project kick-off calls and other meetings.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance: researching and recommending new opportunities, recommending profit and service improvements. Keeps in constant contact with the client via regularly scheduled meetings, either in-person, telephone, video calls, or email communication.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with internal departments including but not limited to Digital Services, Production, Creative Services, and Research to execute and deliver campaigns.
  • Prepares, edits, and proofreads draft copy, artwork, and proofs to ensure brand and messaging consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, entering, analyzing, and summarizing statistical and analytical spreadsheets to evaluate campaign results and ensure results are on track. Recommend course corrections if needed.
